They come with a five-lever Euro profile cylinder complying to British Insurance Standards and BS3621. They are internally glazed as standard, preventing the glass being easily removed from the outside.
If not required, ask for no key lock on the outside of the doors. This offers the doors a cleaner look externally and provides less opportunity for any potential burglar to access your home.

Lift & Slide:
The lift and slide option allows you to lock the lead door in a lightly open position - this provides extra ventilation without affecting the smooth operation of the doors. You can even lower the lead door back down on the track to provide greater resistance. Because only the lead door features the lift and slide option, flush stacking is also available!

Security
Design options and features
The one-piece lock keep provides a neater appearance than conventional individual keeps as well as ensuring trouble free operation. Anti-lift blocks prevent the panels being levered from the tracks, making the old security concerns with sliding doors a thing of the past.
A full-height, thermally broken claw lock on each panel, at every meeting section, ensures the panels cannot be pulled apart from each other. Toughened glass units are used as standard, which are hard to smash but can be upgraded to laminate security glass on the outer pane to achieve PAS24 (the requirement for document Q of the building regulations). The doors are officially tested and certified to ensure they keep out the wind and the rain.
One of the most weather-tight multi-track sliding systems available.
The weather rating varies according to the configuration of the system, but these doors are tested to achieve up to: Class 7A, 300Pa water tightness; Class 3, 600Pa air tightness; and Class AE, 2400Pa wind loads.
All panels are sliding, which reduces the weather rating a little. This is why we recommend having a fixed panel in your design, enabling us to use our colour-matched cover plates on the redundant bottom tracks for a neater, weather-tight detail.
